Please read these terms before using Screenkeep. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Deleting photos is permanent — please read

Screenkeep exists to delete things. Deletion is carried out by iOS, not by us, and it behaves exactly as it does in the Photos app:

iOS shows its own confirmation sheet before anything is removed, and only the items you approve there are deleted. That sheet cannot be skipped or suppressed by any app.
Deleted items go to Recently Deleted, where they can be recovered for 30 days. After that they are gone permanently.
Deleting a screenshot on your device also removes it from iCloud Photos on your other devices, if you use it.
You choose what is deleted. Categories, duplicate groups and suggestions in the app are automated guesses meant to speed up your review, not instructions to be followed blindly. Check a selection before you confirm it.

1. What Screenkeep is — and is not

Screenkeep finds the screenshots on your device, reads their text on-device, groups and searches them, and lets you delete the ones you no longer want. That is the whole of what the app does.

Screenkeep is not:

a backup service — it stores no copy of your screenshots anywhere, and cannot restore anything you delete;
a recovery tool — once an item leaves Recently Deleted, we cannot bring it back, and neither can Apple;
a password manager or a secure vault — the Saved info list is a convenience built from what your screenshots already say, held in ordinary app storage on your device.

Text recognition, categorisation and duplicate detection are automated and best-effort. They will sometimes misread text, put a screenshot in the wrong category, miss a code, or group two images that are not really the same. Accuracy varies with language, screenshot quality and device model. Do not rely on Screenkeep as the only record of anything that matters to you.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use Screenkeep on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell the app or any part of it, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Your content and your responsibility

Your screenshots remain yours. We claim no rights over them, we never receive them, and the app processes them only on your device — see the Privacy Policy.

Because deletion is irreversible after 30 days, you are responsible for what you confirm. Keep a backup of anything you would not want to lose — iCloud Photos, a computer, or another backup of your choice — before running a bulk cleanup. You are also responsible for using the app only on a device and a photo library you are entitled to access.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Screenkeep Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase:

The exact price of each plan, in your own currency, is shown in the app before you buy. Prices vary by region and may change over time; a change never affects a purchase already made.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price shown at purchase.
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Where a free trial is offered, cancelling before it ends avoids any charge, and any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
The one-time Lifetime purchase does not renew and is never charged again.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, not by us; we cannot issue them directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. The free tier

Without a purchase the app remains fully usable: the scan, the storage figures, categories, search and Saved info are all free, along with 20 deletions per day (up to 10 per action). Premium removes that limit and unlocks the smart groups. We may adjust the limits of the free tier over time; entitlements you have already paid for are not affected.

6. No warranty

Screenkeep is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that text recognition or categorisation will be accurate, or that it will identify every duplicate or every piece of information in a screenshot.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of photos, screenshots, data or profits, arising out of your use of Screenkeep — including deletions you confirmed. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Third-party services

Screenkeep uses RevenueCat to verify and restore purchases. Your use of the app is also subject to that service’s terms. See our Privacy Policy for what it processes. Purchases themselves are made through Apple and are subject to the App Store Terms of Service.

9. Terms specific to the Apple App Store

Where you obtained Screenkeep from the App Store, the following apply:

This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
We alone are responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide either.
If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim that the app or your use of it infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights, or fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, or arises under consumer protection or similar legislation.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce it against you.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
